- Sycamore Ridge Puppies is a USDA and State inspected kennel in West Plains, Missouri that specializes in offering Welsh Terrier and Whippet puppies for sale. We are a small family-owned operation with a deep passion for these unique breeds. Our puppies are raised on our farm, living their best dog life with access to 1 acre fenced yards and climate-controlled indoor spaces. We do not operate a full-time commercial kennel, our dogs are labor of love and part of the family! We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and companionship for our furry friends.

About Us
Sycamore Ridge Puppies is a family-owned establishment that specializes in Welsh Terriers and Whippets. Our goal is to breed healthy and well-tempered pet companions that make great additions to your family.
Our Welsh Terriers:
All of our babies come microchipped, have a USDA Veterinary Certificate of Health, are up to date on worming, and vaccinations. They come with a bag of their food. All our dogs have been OFA DNA tested for primary Lense Luxation, This is the only health concern listed for Welsh Terriers. They are all negative. All our dogs have great personalities. They weigh around 20-26 lbs. We live on a farm, so our dogs are exposed to a lot of things throughout the day. We accept a $500 deposit, that goes toward the total cost of the puppy. Weekly pictures are taken to allow families to get weekly updates as they grow. Our Welshies are very loving dogs. They have no problem jumping on your lap or laying on the floor with a chewy. They are very calm unless they are running outside and playing. At 7 weeks we require the remaining balance of $1000, as well as shipping cost if that option works for you. We use a local ground transportation company that delivers to your door for $500. They use two drivers and deliver on a route so deliveries may be at odd hours. However, they keep you updated on their estimated time and gps location. We have used them many times and have had great experiences for both us and the puppy buyers. Our Whippets:
All of our whippets have had their Cardiac exam from our veterinarian. They cannot be registered through OFA until they are at least 2 years old. All puppies have a USDA Veterinary Certificate of Health that includes a heart exam with their health certificate before they go home. All our dogs have great personalities. They weigh around 27-35 lbs. We live on a farm, so our dogs are exposed to a lot of things throughout the day. We accept a $500 deposit, that goes toward the total cost of the puppy.
